The Burnaby Task Force on Homelessness is organizing a sixth annual Homelessness Action Week in Burnaby from October 10-16th.

The Burnaby events for Homelessness Action Week provide access to health care and outreach worker support, clothing and food for many Burnaby people who are dealing with the issue of homelessness and living in extreme poverty.

 Fired Up For The Homeless: Winter Kick-Off Clothing Drive

The Burnaby Fire Department will be holding their Annual Open House during Fire Prevention Week. In support of Progressive Housing Society, the firefighters are challenging members of our community to each bring a much-needed article of warm clothing to help fill the Societyʼs Mobile Outreach Van and clothe the homeless this winter season!
