collecting Cold weather items and nonperishable food for 3030 Gordon at all 5 Vancity locations.
Items needed – warm blankets, pillows, toques, mitts/gloves, socks, underwear, rain gear.
Collecting between October 13^th and 31st

Changing the Narrative. A video Screening + Q & A with people with lived experience.
US & THEM shatters misconceptions about why people end up on the streets, and reveals why the “pull yourself up by the bootstraps” narrative is heavily flawed, The goal of US & THEM is to educate as many people as possible on the realities of homelessness, and to encourage proactive solutions.
Thursday, October 17^th – 6:00pm – Old Mill Boathouse – 2715 Esplanade St – Port Moody.
Admission by donation of cold weather items and nonperishables for 3030 Gordon – light snacks and cash bar

join residents and staff of 3030 Gordon, community members, politicians & Task Group Members to share a hot meal and good conversation on how we can change the narrative on homelessness
